Let’s get the excuses out of the way

These are some of the strongholds that hold people fast in their inability to see the truth in their behaVIor. A stronghold is by definition is a "fortified place or a fortress, a place of survival or rescue, an area specially dominated or occupied by a group or marked by a quality." A stronghold is a well fortified place built to keep us safe. Well in this case, to keep us shielded from the truth.  Strongholds are human reasoning and long held beliefs that are contrary to the will of God. 2 Cor. 10:4 tells us, "We use God's mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons, to knock down the Devil's strongholds."
